In the summer of 2013, my grandma Winnie and I set off on an adventure through Germany, Austria, and Hungary by way of the Danube river. We saw beautiful things, ate delicious food, and enjoyed precious time together. The spread of our ages is over sixty years yet we are kindred souls. We found common ground through our love for travel, horses, adventures, history, and one another.
